Configuring the Import Data Manager Dispatcher Service

The Import Data Manager Dispatcher Service creates directory watchers for the directories where external collection systems put Common Reading File (CRF) files. It then creates a row per file in the FileInventory table and moves the CRF files to a managed subfolder.

1. Go to System Administration > ServiceManagement.

2. Click Add Service.

3. From Service Type, select Import Data Manager Dispatcher Service.

4. In the Service ID field, enter the service ID.

   The Service ID is the user-provided name of the service. The name must be unique.

5. Select the Enabled checkbox to allow the service to run. If the checkbox is not selected, the service is prevented from running.

6. Set the preferred and alternate servers to run this service.

   Note: If the Additional Setup button is unavailable, there is no additional setup required.

7. Click Save.
